Thank you City of Alpharetta!

We were fortunate to have the City of Alpharetta contribute some of the wheat straw from the scare crow festival exhibit!

It is wonderful to be supported in our efforts to develop a sustainable business.

Will this kill me?

Mushrooms don't have to be scary! Here in Georgia, edible mushrooms are everywhere.

True, some caution should be used in identifying the foraged fungi before risking a tummy ache or worse.

Here are some found in Kennesaw growing on a log by the side of the road. They are of The Genus Hericium, commonly called Lion's Mane, Comb Tooth, Monkey's Head, Pom Pom...

They are great sauteed in butter with garlic, salt and pepper. They can be added to soups, sauces and chili.
